Indian classical music

Our Indian music course throw light onto the fundamentals of Indian classical music, its history, theory and performance practice. Besides introductory theoretical lectures illustrated by audio-visual examples and live demonstration, the course offers an opportunity to practically learn North Indian classical vocal music in the dhrupada and haveli sangeet styles. After an initial voice training, simple songs would be introduced. The practical aspect of the course is available for learners at all levels from beginners to advanced students, with focus on dhrupada, the eldest and fundamental genre of North Indian classical music.
